I am eating King Cake and Daniel was
enjoying(?) rice cereal! But next year at this time, our boy will get to savor that wonderful Mardi Gras treat.
I want some King Cake too. Next year Mardi Gras is around March 8th. Maybe we should plan a family parade day picnic on the neutral ground for next year.
Or we can join Mary Wahden’s family set up. All the work is done for us, and they are on St. Charles with access to Hampton Inn restrooms! We went last year and had a blast.
That sounds great! The location is perfect. Now all we need is for Leslie and Ben to agree with us.
What about extended family
And we know how to get some really good BBQ!!

This sounds GREAT! It’s been 5 years since I went to Mardi Gras and am definitely going through withdrawal. Grandma Janret, I promise you will have a fantastic time. I know I will, especially with some really good BBQ!
