Yeah! The boy has man hands, and he’s not 6 months old. I think Ben and Leslie need to put a tennis racket, golf club, catcher’s mitt, or a useful tool – screw driver, wrench, pliers, etc. – in those hands and get some use out of them. If nothing else teach Daniel how to open jars! And I agree on the feet thing – could be a swimmer!
In those first two pictures, Daniel is doing the trick I taught him the last time I visited. Remember the rhyme, “This is the church, this is the steeple, open the door…”. Obviously, he is fantastically brilliant; and cute as can be!
Leslie claims I was the one who taught him to spit. I think he just was so excited and wanted to talk to all of us, it just came out as a spit; Uncle Martin may disagree since he got it full face.
In pics. #2 & #3, Daniel has his eyes on his sailboats. I recognize that look.
Those feet and hands look mighty big!!!

Nannie,
What other tricks did you teach him?

I like the “church and steeple” trick better than spitting…but spitting may come in handy sometime
#2 – I think Daniel is knows the “situation.”
